Glengarry GlenRoss
Initial complaints are that there is so little done in terms of contextualizing the characters, that it is difficult to feel like their person is any more than how they behave in the office/Chinese Restaurant. Shelley could just as easily be fabricating his response to his daughter's medical situation as his telling a prospective customer that he is a Rio Rancho VP who is just in town for a day with an offer he can't refuse.
The enthusiasm of the actors was what made it really fun though. Jack Lemmon and Al Pacino are Grade-A deceivers.
